After 6 years of intense competition in Western Canada, it is with great sorrow that we, the Xtreme Paintball League, announce today that the Western Conference will no longer battle within the ranks of the CXBL.

Throughout its existence, the western conference has brought tremendous talent to the CXBL with teams like Richmond Cup Champions Edmonton Impact and Edmonton Prevail. Western Canada has always welcomed us with open arms and for this we thank those who have supported us throughout the years. Team and player support is and always will be the reason why the CXBL thrives, however with the lack of said support for the upcoming 2012 season, the Xtreme Paintball League will have to cease its west coast operations and now focus on its Central, Eastern and Atlantic conferences.

We at the CXBL would like to express our gratitude to all western players for having played in our league and sincerely wish you the best of luck for the future.
